The Battery Information Dialog displays whenever you select a battery in the Results Panel, right click and click the "Battery Information" menu item from the context menu.
The controls on the Battery Information Dialog are listed below:
| Control | Description |
| Serial Number Label | The Motorola serial number that was assigned to the battery at the factory |
| Chemistry Label | The Chemistry Label displays the materials used in the composition of the battery. There are three types of battery chemistries; Nickel Cadmium (NiCd), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) and Lithium Ion (LiIon) |
| Kit Number Label | The Kit Number Label displays a manufacturing group number. Batteries with the same kit number share a number of properties such as Chemistry, Rated Capacity, etc. |
| Group Name Listbox | The Group Listbox allows you to assign the battery to a customizable group and select from an existing Group Name or the value None. Use the User Group Dialog to create and maintain user groups for your organization |
| Alias Textbox | The Alias Textbox allows you to assign a text string to the battery that can be used to identify the battery on many reports |
| Status Listbox | The purpose of the Status field is to allow you to remove a battery from battery analysis functions and reports without removing the battery from the system. The Status Listbox allows you to change the battery from Active status to Inactive status. Batteries that have an Active status appear by default on all reports. Inactive batteries do not appear on reports. Note that batteries that are inserted into an IMPRES charger will automatically have a status of Active. Also note that Inactive batteries are automatically removed from IMPRES Battery Fleet Management after the date of Inactive Battery Purge (Months) threshold in the Preferences Dialog |
| Alert Combobox | You can select an On or Off state to set an alert for the battery |
| Comments Textbox | The Comments Textbox allows you to enter free form text to annotate any battery in IMPRES Battery Fleet Management |
| Radio Family Label | Displays the name of the Radio Family to which the battery belongs |
| Manufacture Date Label | Displays the date that the battery was manufactured (EM Region Only) |
| Days Since Last Reconditioning / Calibration Label | Contains the number of days since the battery was reconditioned or calibrated in an IMPRES charger |
| Date of First Use Label | Displays the approximate date that the battery was first inserted into an IMPRES charger |
| Days Since Removal from IMPRES Charger Label | Displays the approximate number of days since the battery was last inserted and removed from a pocket of an IMPRES charger |
| Date of Last Read Label | Displays the date on which the battery was last read by a charger or IMPRES device that is attached to IMPRES Battery Fleet Management |
| Time of Last Removal Label | Displays the time stamp on which the battery was last removal from a charger or IMPRES device that is detached to IMPRES Battery Fleet Management |
| Estimated Days Until Next Calibration / Reconditioning Label | Displays the estimated number of days until the battery should be reconditioned or calibrated |
| Health (%) Label | This is the ratio of Potential Capacity / Rated Capacity shown as a percentage |
| Total IMPRES Charge Cycles Label | Displays the approximate number of times that the battery has been charged by an IMPRES charger |
| Present Charge (mAh) Label | Displays the charge of the battery in mAh at the time that the battery was read |
| Total Estimated Non-IMPRES Charge Cycles Label | Displays the estimated number of times that the battery was charged in a non IMPRES charger |
| Potential Capacity (mAh) Label | Displays the maximum capacity in mAh that the battery will hold at the time it was read |
| Total Reconditioning / Calibration Cycles Label | Display the estimated number of times that the battery was reconditioned or calibrated |
| Rated Capacity (mAh) Label | Displays the rated capacity of the battery in mAh |
| FM Label | Displays whether or not the battery is designated as Factory Mutual (FM) |
| TIA4950 Label | Displays whether or not the battery is designated as the HazLoc Division 1 standard |
| UL2504 Div 2 Label | Displays whether or not the battery is designated as the UL2504 Division 2 standard |
| CSA 157 Label | Displays whether or not the battery is designated as the CSA 157 standard |
| ATEX Label | Displays whether or not the battery is designated as the ATEX standard |
| Battery Data Refresh Overdue (Days) Textbox | The Battery Data Refresh Overdue Textbox allows you to assign a unique number of days to the battery that requires refresh battery data different than the value defined in the Preferences |
| Computer Name Label | Displays the network name of the computer to which the last IMPRES charger was attached that the battery was charged in |
| Battery Voltage (V) Label | Displays the voltage of the battery at the time it was last charged |
| Device Name Label | Displays the name of the last IMPRES charger that this battery was inserted into |
| Charger SW Version Label | Displays the version of the software contained in the last IMPRES charger that this battery was last inserted into |
| Pocket Number Label | Displays the number of the pocket of the last IMPRES charger that this battery was inserted into |
| Battery Temperature (C) Label | Displays the temperature in Centigrade of the battery when it was last inserted into a IMPRES charger |
| LED Indication Label | Displays the color and flash of the LED indicator on the last IMPRES device into which the battery was inserted |
| Battery Temperature (F) Label | Displays the temperature in Fahrenheit of the battery when it was last inserted into a IMPRES charger |
| Battery Status Label | Displays the status of the battery as determined by the IMPRES device into which the battery was last inserted |
| Recommendations Label and Icon | Displays recommendations based on IMPRES Battery Fleet Management analysis of the battery. A severity icon is also displayed with the recommendation text. If there is more than one recommendation for a battery then the severity icon will be shown for the most severe recommendation |
| Charge Histogram - Charge Added Histogram | Each percentage value is incremented based on the charge added to the battery while the battery is charging in an IMPRES charger |
| Charge Histogram - Charge Remaining Histogram | Each percentage value is incremented based on the Present Charge Percentage in the Battery 2.5 minutes after battery was placed into the IMPRES charger for charging |
| Battery History Bar Chart | Displays the battery Health (%) by time for each insertion of the battery into an IMPRES device or each read though a radio. Note that battery history is maintained by IMPRES Battery Fleet Management for 60 days |
| Apply Changes Button | Saves any changes that you have made within the dialog |
| Discard Changes Button | Discards any changes that you have made within the dialog and returns the fields to their original values |
